WordPress “post.php” blank on submit: FIXED!
Update April 19th, 2010: I managed to cause it *again*, but this time it was a “500 Internal Server Error” due to an errant .htaccess entry I was fooling around with.
Thanks to Lee Kelleher and Sean Deasy for helping me with something that seemed to have sprung up after I migrated this blog from Linux to FreeBSD (and was subsequently totally unrelated). To quote Sean;
If you have this issue with the blank post.php page when posting then the issue is most likely some one of the sites in your ping list is timing out.
Alot of people say that by simply removing rpc.pingomatic.com from the list it should work but this did not work for me. I had to go through alot of the ping list to eliminate which ones were causing issues.
Cheers to both!
